What Are Fitness Clinics?
Fitness Clinics are 30-minute informative sessions designed by the Fitness Team to answer questions and provide you with fresh ideas and proven methods to improve your exercise program. These clinics are free and open to DCFL members, guests, and the community, so feel free to bring a friend! Space is limited—registration is required.

Correct posture allows the body to function safely and efficiently. Come learn corrective exercises and stretches to improve posture and remove unnecessary stress on joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
Gardening: Ergonomics and Your Body – with Heather Bohl

Do you know how to properly garden without causing excessive stress on your body? By learning a bit about the ergonomics involved in gardening you can save yourself pain and strain so you can work smarter, not harder!
Power Training to Improve Strength and Balance – with Jamie Lewis

Have you ever wondered what the “Peak Power” numbers on the Keiser strength training machines mean? Come to this clinic to learn what power is, how training power can improve your strength and balance, and how you can easily incorporate it into your strength training routine. Please wear appropriate athletic attire and be prepared to move. All levels welcome.
